Nursery (Birth – 3 Years)
Our First Steps Nursery is clean, safe, and staffed by a loving and professional team. The nursery is designed to give children from birth to three years a great experience while at FBC.
The First Steps Nursery is open during all the Sunday morning and evening activities, Wednesday night activities, and some other activities during the week. If you have questions about when childcare is provided, please call the church office @ 936-327-4417.
Children (PreK – 5th Grade)
At FBC, we desire to partner with parents as they build a solid spiritual foundation in the lives of their children. First Kids Ministry is a place where biblical truths are taught on an age-appropriate level in a safe, loving environment.
Your PreK through 2nd Grade children will enjoy worship at 9am and Bible Study at 10:30am. 3rd through 5th Grade children will attend Bible Study at 9am and worship at 10:30am.
Check-In
We understand that children learn best in a safe, loving environment. Therefore, FBC has safety policies and procedures in place to protect your children.
Upon your child’s first visit, we ask that you complete a Child Information Card. If your child is nursery age, each time you drop your child off at Check-In, you will receive a number card. Should your child need you during the service, your child’s number will be shown on the screen in the Worship Center. It is extremely important that you do not lose your number card because you will need it to pick up your child.

AWANA
On Wednesday nights during the school year, PreK through 5th graders can participate in AWANAs. AWANA is a Bible based program whose purpose is to teach children to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. AWANA is focused on scripture memorization, with lots of fun games and activities added in. Your children will love AWANA!
