A 100 Year Legacy
1904
First Baptist Church established in 1904, with 13 members meeting.
1905
First building constructed at 203 East Calhoun in downtown Livingston.
1906
First Baptist Church’s first baptism service was held at Choates Creek.
1928
48 new members were added during the summer revival.
1947
New worship building is constructed.
1960′s
Education buildings were constructed.
1973
The Wadsworth Memorial Building is constructed to provide more room and functionality.
1993
The Wadsworth Memorial Building receives a major remodel to add more education space.
2004
75 acres is purchased for future relocation.
2007
Church votes to begin construction on new property.
2008
Relocation and construction of 1st phase completed.
